Travis Perkins to reopen more branches to support sites

Travis Perkins is the UK’s biggest builders merchant, it has conveyed its decision to reopen more branches to support the large contractors who are restarting their construction sites.

Travis Perkins has started an initiative called “service light” since the lockdown was imposed, under this model the firm’s one third of branches will be working to support the essential projects like Nightingale hospitals.

JCB’s Uttoxeter factory reopens for manufacturing ventilators

After the coronavirus outbreak, JCB and other major industries in the UK have shut down their business units. But JCB has aimed to provide aid through manufacturing ventilators to help the country in overcoming the coronavirus pandemic. With Uttoxeter factory called on reopening along with 50 members rejoining, the digger giant stands tall to serve the nation.
