Sheffield City Council  has decided to start the bid race for a major hotel conversion job of £29m Sheffield hotel conversion plan. An existing Victorian building is to be converted into a Radisson Blu hotel will act as a gateway to the district from the east.

Higgins to reopen majority sites next week

Higgins, the building contractor Higgins from south east has confirmed that it is planning to reopen majority of its sites from coming week. The head office of Higgins will remain close, but the office-based staff and directors will be working from home. The emergency call-out works will be responded by the Higgins after sales team.

Construction equipment market fell by 22% in the first quarter

Construction equipment and the retail sales of construction market in the first quarter fell by 22% in comparision with the previous year market i.e.. 2019 first quarter. It is clear that, this situation has come due to the coronavirus crisis across the world including UK, which led to the industry shutdown and lockdown restrictions across the country.

As per the reports, the impact on the construction equpiment market is more in the month March compared to the months January and February, there is a 45% crash in the sales of March month whereas it is 6% in both January and February months.
